jess and i just finished off our struggling basil plants (the ones we grew in the back of the truck - haha). i love it just torn up fresh over farfalle or penne pasta with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, pine nuts, and globs of tj's goat cheese.
you really should enter that in some kind of competition. any tips for raising basil?

Wow! That is some beautiful basil! I think we might have to try some herbs in pots like that.

Pesto Pasta Toss - Kraftfoods.com
Prep Time: 5 min
Total Time: 17 min
Makes: 6 servings, 1-1/3 cups each
1 pkg. (16 oz.) farfalle (bow-tie pasta), uncooked
1 pkg. (8 oz.) ATHENOS Traditional Feta Cheese, crumbled
3/4 cup pesto
1 jar (7 oz.) roasted red peppers, drained, finely chopped
COOK pasta as directed on package; drain.
TOSS with remaining ingredients.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with a mixed green salad and a piece of your favorite fresh fruit for dessert.
Make Ahead
This pasta can also be enjoyed cold. Prepare as directed; cover. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
