We had made no plans to celebrate St. Patty's. But, we quickly remedied that with a stop at Trader Joe's for their festive St. Patty's stickers and the green bottled Reed's Extra Ginger Brew Ginger Beer (alcohol free, mind you)--nothing like a beverage to celebrate! It was joined with a tuna fish sandwich (with chopped, cold, and crunchy dill pickles and crispy fried onions) on crusty bread and a side of sliced apples to make a quick but satisfying dinner. To me, food usually makes the holiday.
