Excuse my presumptuousness but it gives me a thrill to see my artwork clothed in glass and metal. The walls in our bedroom have been primarily bare for the almost two years we've lived here. Money is tight so we're making do with what we have as far as decor goes. But I do have a stack of my old paintings leaning against the storage closet walls, unframed and hidden by bags filled with 0-12 month onesies and dresses. We made a spur-of-the-moment trip to IKEA and picked up some aluminum frames to properly display these forgotten ink and watercolor pages as well as other exposed photos and prints. It has whet my appetite to keep creating with my hands--something we should all be doing.

Ann, they are beautiful. God has blessed you with so many talents. Your thoughts caused me to think of the idea that money really is not happiness, keeping our hands busy is where the happiness comes from, whether using them in service to others or making meals for our families or in creating beauty through paintings, sewing or whatever we choose to do with them.
