Dills on a Dock

We spent a wonderful weekend with Mr. Dill, Mrs. Dill, their darlings (5!), and Gammy Dill.

The Highlights:

*MD now has a third grandmother in Gammy Dill. Numerous times throughout the day she would ask her to "hold you".

*Seeing Katy and Ryan's colorful house--so much personality and spunk!

*Katy and I kneeling in her closet oo-ing and awe-ing over her neat material and coming up with different projects for them.

*Sitting in Gammy's condo talking and loving the panoramic view of the Atlantic ocean.

*Playing horse with Pearl.

*Watching MD run around with Clover.

*Teeter-tottering with Divine, Olive and Katy.

*Trying to kiss Brendon while hanging from the tree swing with Olive on my lap. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

*Hearing Claudette's stories.

*Our double date sans the kiddos.

*The fact that Ryan laughs easily.

*Watching Divine and Pearl walk down the sidewalk with their arms around each other.

*Listening to Brendon quiz Divine on geography.

*Listening to Azure sing her made-up-in-the-moment song.

*Being able to tell Ryan his "nice thing around the table" in person for his birthday.

*Walking on the beach with Brendon (thanks Claudette for watching MD).

*Watching and listening to the energetic buzz of a beautiful home filled with happy parents
and children.

*Taking tips from Mr. and Mrs. Dill on how to raise great kids.

*Seeing my sister, Katy happy.

*Watching Ryan and Katy laugh at each other.

*Seeing MD discover sand, shells, and the seagulls.

*Meeting Cashe, the horse.

*Feeling the Spirit in the Dill home.

*Laughing while playing MadGab--Ryan is hilarious to listen to.

*Playing in the backyard for hours.

*Finding out that Katy and I weigh exactly the same (it made for a more challenging teeter-
tottering with the game we were playing).

*Katy and I coming up with a plan to move closer together so we can share books, sewing patterns, ideas, and a smocking machine.

*Watching Katy take photos of her girls--they are great posers.

*Watching Claudette play with her granddaughters.

*Seeing how much everyone loved each other--the Dills are a neat family!

Thank you Claudette, Ryan, Katy, Divine, Pearl, Olive, Azure, and Clover!!!

We love you!
