Dear Jacob,
Do you remember when we used to play with the mini croquet set you made (it was the size of our thumbs)? You were a kind older brother to include me.
Do you remember when you lived at Sparks and I lived at Centennial apartments and we would hang out together and go swimming? I was grateful for your friendship.
Do you remember when you charged Ben and me a penny for one minute of jumping on your bed? You’ve always had amazing business sense. And you did have the bounciest bed, after all.
Do you remember the little gold leafed harp with color appropriate strings that you made for me? You are very creatively attentive to details.
Do you remember how you still have contact with all your high school buddies? One of your friends told me that you have the kindest heart out of anyone he knows. You are an example both in kindness and in testimony.
Do you remember when you tricked Ben into thinking he was late for the bus, so the two of you hurried and got ready, ran all the way up to the Calder bus stop and that’s when you told him it was only Saturday? The whole family has always enjoyed your sense of humor.
Do you remember how this year has been one of the toughest for you and me? It is comforting to know we’re praying for each other.
I love you Jacob. Happiest birthday to you!
Love,
Ann

I remember the bus incident. It was especially funny because he hurried up to the bus stop with Ben. Love it.
Good times right!? Thanks for the note Ann, it has been a tough year, but you are a better person for it! Love you.

Dad, It's hilarious, isn't it? It's jumping not iumping.
